How to read a prescription?
- OD / OS
- Right (oculus dexter) and left (oculus sinister) eye. A prescription always lists them separately.
- SPH (PWR)
- Spherical power in dioptres: “−” for short-sightedness, “+” for long-sightedness.
- CYL / AX
- Cylinder and axis – for toric (astigmatism) lenses only. If your prescription has none, leave them empty.
- BC
- Base curve (mm) – the curvature of the lens. Choose the one your eye care specialist prescribed.
- DIA
- Lens diameter (mm). Usually one per model.
- ADD
- Reading addition – for multifocal lenses only.
The Lensify Soft two-week contact lens is made of a new-technology silicone hydrogel material developed to give exceptional comfort to the most sensitive and dry eyes. The lens has very thin edges, which keep contact between the lens and the eyelid to a minimum when you blink. Less friction between the eyelid and the lens is one of the main factors of comfort in lens wear.
During production, the Lensify Soft contact lens is saturated with sodium hyaluronate, a natural moisturiser. While the lens is worn, sodium hyaluronate gives maximum moisture and a feeling of comfort to the wearer.
The innovative material of Lensify Soft has a high water content. Together with the sodium hyaluronate it releases, the high water content creates unique and effective hydration. This hydration system helps the contact lens stay moist and comfortable all day long. The technology also reduces the build-up of deposits on the lens surface, helping to keep your eyes healthy and your vision clear.
